Flute: Practice making a sound with headjoint of flute. If making a consistent sound, use a timer to see how long you can hold out a steady note (longtones). Practice putting flute together. Put fingers on top of keys/buttons (stickers). Practice notes D, Eb, F. Watch flute video below.
Clarinet: Practice making a sound with mouthpiece and barrel connected. If making a consistent sound, use a timer to see how long you can hold out a steady note (longtones).Practice properly putting clarinet together. Practice "E" note (thumb and finger 1) with clarinet put together. Practice notes E, F, G. Watch clarinet videos below.
Sax: Practice making a sound with neckpiece and mouthpiece only. If making a consistent sound, use a timer to see how long you can hold out a steady note (longtones). Practice putting sax together properly. Practice your "B" note (finger 1). Practice notes B, C, D. Watch saxophone video below.

Percussion: Practice 8 beat quarter note pattern (Left 12345678, Right 12345678) with metronome at 60, 90, 120, 140. Practice alternating sticking with quarter,eighth, sixteenth rhythm (1234, 1+2+3+4+, 1e+a2e+a,3e+a, 4e+a) or (Du du du du, Du de du de du de du de, Du ta de ta Du ta de ta Du ta de ta Du ta de ta) with metronome at 60.
